Tek-Temp Instruments proudly announces its entry into the Thermoelectric Field with the new TEK-500 SERIES THERMOELECTRIC CHILLERS. Peltier-type heat pumps are an emerging solution to temperature control problems of diverse varieties, especially where the amount of heat to be pumped is not large. They are replacing circulating-fluid type systems and ridding facilities of environmentally-unsuitable refrigerants. Essentially maintenance free, they are becoming widely implemented in new designs as well.
Directed by a microcontroller, these units feature simultaneous display of the process temperature on a backlit 128 x 64 LCD with a LCD alphanumeric display updating such parameters as coolant flow, coolant resistivity, and system status.
